Captain Britain

Captain Britain (Brian Braddock), also known as Britannic, is a fictional character, a superhero appearing in the comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe, he first appeared in Captain Britain Weekly, #1 (October 13, 1976), and the series has been produced through the years by many people most notably Alan Moore.
The character was supposed to be the British equivalent of Captain America. Endowed first with the Amulet of Right and then with a costume that provided flight and super strength by the legendary magician Merlyn and his daughter Roma, Captain Britain was assigned to uphold the laws of Great Britain.
