The king's he serves is a squirrel tail moustached Buffoon. The queen is silly like a cow. The king minister's are all aspirants to the throne and hence ever conspiring. Bankelal too has delusions of dethroning the king
The setup is crazy, ancient, fairytale, voodoo, black magic, magic dimensions, ghosts, demons, everything remotely conceivable. It is a mad world with no holds barred.
